SOLANA BEACH, CA — Bear Naked, a leader in the bite-sized snack space, launched its new line of Crunchy Bites today in two new flavors: Honey Oat and Chocolate Chip.
The new varieties join the existing Peanut Butter Honey and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt chewy bites, which cater to customers who are seeking the textures and flavors they love in a convenient, on-the-go format.
“Consumers asked, and we delivered. Bear Naked Crunchy Bites satisfy their taste for something new, exciting, and different than what’s been stocked in the granola aisle,” said Sean Silk, brand marketing lead at Bear Naked. “Whether you need convenient and nutritious snacks to pack on your next adventure or want a poppable pick-me-up during your next gaming session, Bear Naked Crunchy Bites are the on-the-go snack you’ve been craving.”
The new flavors feature inclusions such as honey, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds, fair trade chocolate chips, vanilla, whole oats and golden toasted raisins.
The new snacks are building upon the momentum granola companies are enjoying during snack time, with in-between meal snacks being the most frequent occasion to enjoy granola. Bear Naked cited that nearly 90% of granola consumers snack on the item between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner, edging out the 74% of granola lovers who eat the item at breakfast. These bites are designed to give the consumer a more portable way to enjoy their snack time selection.
Bear Naked is also making the new snack sustainable by using their recyclable packaging. Consumers can bring their empty pack to the store for recycling after polishing off the poppable bites.
