Topics will share a united message: As an integral force in the international industry, iba connects with all market players to continuously make progress and reinvention possible. The campaign aims to inspire attendees with personal stories shared by members of the industry.

“We invite everyone to accompany us on our journey to Düsseldorf and enjoy the run-up to the industry’s leading event by contributing new ideas and exchanging thoughts via social media, press and public relations, or on our website, thus helping to shape iba,” said Susann Seidemann, director of iba. “After all, the anticipation is half the fun.”

The trade fair will focus on three main topics: artisan bakery, digitalization and food trends, all highlighting themes in today’s industry and offering insight into the future.

A new location also means a new size and layout compared to Munich, where the fair is traditionally held. Next year’s event spans halls 9-15 at Messe Dusseldorf, covering more than 320,000 square feet. Halls 9-14 will house trends and innovation in production technology and equipment, with Hall 9 dedicated specifically to packaging technology. Artisan bakery will be housed in Halls 13 and 14 with Hall 15 hosting raw materials and ingredients.

Exhibitors can register at any time, while ticket sales for attendees will open at the end of the year.
