KANSAS CITY, MO — Avant Food Media, the parent company of Commercial Baking and Craft to Crumb, released its first-ever Impact Report.

“Every single person at Avant Food Media is conscious of social and environmental issues, so it just makes sense for us to harness that energy and put it into our work,” said Jordan Winter, Avant Food Media creative director. “This report is a framework to measure our company’s impact on both people and planet. Having this level of transparency will help us better understand how we operate, but also fuel our momentum toward improving over time.”

The report, which Winter developed and led, highlights key company demographics, Avant’s social and environmental impact as it relates to industry contributions, volunteer work, and sustainability efforts.

“What we’re doing now is breaking up everything that we’ve ever done before,” said Joanie Spencer, Avant Food Media director of content. “Developing this report helped us see the small steps we’re taking that can lead us toward bigger changes in the future. The industry has never looked like this, and we are proud to be part of positive change.”
