BOSTON — To bridge the gap between education and industry, American Student Assistance (ASA) and the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Network announced Experience.Work, a platform designed with Profession-Based Learning (Pro-BL).
“Experience.Work represents a pivotal step forward in creating opportunities for students to truly engage with the professional world while still in high school,” said Corey E. Mohn, president and executive director of the CAPS Network. “This platform is about more than education; it’s about transformation. By bringing industry and education together, we can unlock the potential of students and prepare them to thrive in an ever-evolving workforce.”
With Pro-BL, the platform will create meaningful collaborations between educators and industry leaders to design real-world learning experiences and personalized projects that challenge students and develop technical and durable skills.

Experience.Work will offer resources such as practical guides on establishing industry partnerships, customizable pitch decks and case studies of successful collaborations to help educators integrate Pro-BL into their curricula.
“Through this valuable resource on Pro-BL, education providers and employers will discover how they can better work together to provide young people with the hands-on experiences they need to acquire durable skills for work and life, develop confidence and build social capital,” said Julie Lammers, EVP of American Student Assistance.
By utilizing the platform, members of the baking industry can engage with emerging talent and boost productivity through quick-start guides, testimonials from successful partnerships and insights into community impact.
