RICHMOND, VA — Fifth-generation baker Bill Zimmerman has joined AMF Bakery Systems, a leading equipment and system solutions supplier. Zimmerman will serve as a regional account manager for the Western United States and Canada.
“We anticipate substantial growth in consumer demand for premium, artisan style baked products over the coming years,” said Ross Sandlin, AMF’s director of sales for the Americas. “Welcoming Bill to our sales team will position us to better deliver and support our complete system solutions for these specialty consumer product segments.”
In this role, Zimmerman will focus on the specialty baked goods segment and join a team of account managers supporting commercial bakers around the globe. He brings 25 years of experience in technical service and whole baking and ingredients sales to the company. With Zimmerman’s knowledge of the production process, baking industry and his collaborative approach, he has brought solutions that improve operation efficiencies and increase profitability to a range of baking companies.
