CHICAGO — There’s a new addition to the c-suite at Alpha Baking Co., a Chicago-based specialty bread, buns and rolls producer. The baking company announced the promotion of Ryan Strukoff to VP and CFO.
Strukoff first joined the commercial bakery in January 2022 as corporate manager, bringing a wealth of finance expertise from roles at companies such as Deloitte.
“This journey has been nothing short of amazing,” Strukoff said via LinkedIn. “From my time as corporate manager to now stepping into this new role, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, driven and supportive colleagues I could ask for. I’m deeply grateful to the leadership team for their unwavering dedication and collaboration along the way.”
Alpha Baking was founded in 1979 by Mike Marcucci and Larry Marcucci, who served as board chair and CEO, respectively. Today, the baking company boasts a 172,000-square-foot production facility in Chicago’s South Side, churning out nearly 2 million pounds of bread a week.
