WASHINGTON, DC — The American Bakers Association (ABA) recently announced the lineup for its NextGen Baker Leadership Forum, which will be held Sept. 20 in Las Vegas during the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), held Sept. 17-21.
The event, which will begin at 5 p.m. in Room 326 of the new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature a panel discussion with industry leaders Cordia Harrington, CEO and founder of Crown Bakeries and ABA board chair; Paul Bakus, president, North America, for Puratos; Ryals McMullian, president and CEO of Flowers Foods; and Tyson Yu, CEO of Aspire Bakeries.
Topics will include how to attract and retain top talent, as well as tips on building and maintaining high-performance teams. The panelists will also discuss how to successfully encourage a culture of innovation and community in a bakery manufacturing environment.
The forum will open with a cocktail reception before the panel — moderated by NextGen Baker co-chairs Lili Economakis, division VP, customer development non-commercial, for Aspire Bakeries, and Campbell Williams, co-president of B.C. Williams Bakery Service and BCW Food Products — takes the stage.
