WASHINGTON DC — The American Bakers Association (ABA) announced the new titles for two of its leadership team members.
Rasma Zvaners has been elevated from VP of regulatory affairs to the role of VP of government relations. In her new role, she will oversee the association’s government relations operation as well as bring her experience and understanding of the commercial baking industry’s regulatory landscape to ABA’s advocacy initiatives.
“Rasma’s leadership will be pivotal in shaping policies that support the growth and sustainability of the baking industry, and her expertise will be invaluable in representing the interests of our members at the highest levels of government,” said Eric Dell, president and CEO of ABA.
Christina Donnelly, who was promoted to senior director, industry relations and strategic initiatives earlier this year, will now also serve as corporate secretary for ABA’s board of directors. She will oversee the governance processes of the board.
“Christina has been instrumental in fortifying our industry relations and spearheading strategic initiatives that have significantly advanced our mission,” Dell said. “In her expanded role, Christina will bring her insights and expertise to the governance of our board, ensuring that we remain steadfast and effective in our endeavors.”
