PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Bakery ingredients manufacturer Puratos is fortifying its US manufacturing footprint with its acquisition of Trevose, PA-based Vör Foods, a producer of high-performance nut and seed butters.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Bakery ingredients manufacturer Puratos is fortifying its US manufacturing footprint with its acquisition of Trevose, PA-based Vör Foods, a producer of high-performance nut and seed butters.

The Vör Foods portfolio consists of pistachio, hazelnut, almond, cashew, and blended nut butters and fillings. When paired with Puratos’ current line of nut fillings, the ingredient company is poised to continue supporting bakers with more locally sourced ingredients, helping them meet growing consumer demand for clean-label nut solutions.

Through this deal, Puratos will invest in equipment and capacity at Vör’s SQF-certified, dedicated nut facility, located 35 minutes away from the ingredient company’s US headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ.
