John McNeill to deliver ABA Convention keynote

WASHINGTON, DC — As the American Bakers Association (ABA)’s annual convention approaches, the industry association is unveiling more details about the programming for the upcoming event, to be held April 19-23 in Colorado Springs, CO.

The latest update includes the announcement that Jon McNeill, CEO and co-founder of DVx Ventures, will be a keynote speaker for the event.

“ABA is committed to delivering programming that aligns with our category growth initiative,” said Eric Dell, ABA president and CEO. “Jon’s message will support baking and supplier companies as they evaluate new technologies, strengthen their operations, and empower their teams to adapt and thrive.”

McNeill’s background includes founding and scaling six companies. Prior to his work with DVx, he served in various leadership roles at Tesla and Lyft.

During his keynote presentation, McNeill will offer ABA Convention attendees insights into how and where AI can create value, specifically for manufacturers. He will also delve into what modern transformers do well with and areas for improvement, leveraging his background to fortify said insights.

“Jon McNeill has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands navigate transformation at an extraordinary scale,” said Samantha Moore, senior director, events and programming at ABA. “His insights on AI, manufacturing and disciplined innovation will give ABA members the clarity and confidence to lead their companies into the next era of baking.”

ABA Convention programming will also include keynote presentations from economist Andy Busch, Army Lt. Col. Dan Rooney and Jorge Rosas, CEO of WeWow USA.
