“BEMA-U Market Minute was created as a direct result from conversations with our board of directors and our members,” said Emily Bowers, VP of education and operations at BEMA. “When we asked what resources would be beneficial to their companies, the response was timely and relevant data, trends and expert guidance to help them make sense of the rapidly shifting landscape in the manufacturing sector. This program is about equipping members working hard at every level of our member companies with the clarity and information they need to confidently navigate the industry and marketplace.”

The webinar series will cover a range of topics, including tariffs, trade policy, supply chain costs and pressures, and the broader geopolitical atmosphere.

BEMA-U Market Minute’s inaugural webinar will take place Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. CT and take a deep dive into navigating tariffs and trade policy in 2026. As the industry continues navigating steep IEEPA and Section 301 tariffs — some reaching 50% — on imported machinery, parts, steel, copper and aluminum, BEMA member companies are seeking clarity and guidance on tariffs.

The first BEMA-U Market Minute will be led by trade expert Shawn Jarosz. For more information and to register, visit the BEMA website.
