Pacha hits shelves in 2,400 stores nationwide

VISTA, CA — PACHA, a producer of buckwheat-based, allergen-free baked goods, announced a major expansion into 2,400 new stores nationwide.

Albertsons will introduce three PACHA SKUs — Original Buckwheat Loaf, Cinnamon Raisin Loaf and Original English Muffins — across 791 stores in its Denver, Chicago, NorCal and Southwest divisions.

Whole Foods Market will launch PACHA’s first-ever sourdough buckwheat tortillas across more than 500 locations nationwide, marking the tortilla’s first launch into retail since debuting online at Expo West earlier this year. Made with sprouted buckwheat from US regenerative farms, PACHA’s tortillas are naturally gluten-, grain- and allergen-free.

“I gave up gluten years ago and thought I’d never enjoy bread again,” said Maddie Hamann, co-founder and director of marketing at PACHA. “When we began fermenting sprouted buckwheat in our own kitchen, we discovered a way to make bread that actually makes you feel better.”

Sprouts Farmers Market will carry PACHA products for the first time in all 430 of its locations nationwide. Available products include Original and Multiseed Loaves as well as Original and Multiseed English Muffins.

PACHA’s retail growth rate reflects rising consumer demand for clean-label baked goods that provide sought-after health attributes, such as fiber and protein.

“This milestone shows what’s possible when you combine real food with a regenerative mission,” said Adam Hiner, co-founder and CEO of PACHA. “As major retailers embrace PACHA, we’re proving there’s room for a new kind of bread aisle built on transparency, gut health and ingredients that heal more than they harm.”

With the increased distribution, PACHA’s products are now available in 2,477 stores nationwide, with additional locations planned for 2026.
