BOULDER, CO — European biscuits, cereals and snacking bars manufacturer Cerealto is making its entrance in the US with a major investment in Boulder, CO-based Fresca Foods, a natural and organic snacks contract manufacturer.

“We are thrilled to partner with Cerealto and continue leading our US business as both shareholders and management,” said Todd Dutkin, chair of Fresca Foods. “This collaboration brings fresh investment and enhanced capabilities, enabling us to accelerate innovation and deliver a complete range of snacking solutions to customers across the US, Europe, the UK and beyond.”

The deal will fortify both companies’ capabilities in the snacking industry. For Cerealto, the agreement opens access to a broad US consumer base, accelerating distribution and offering more opportunities for market penetration. Fresca Foods, which co-manufactures for various US and international brands, will be able to strengthen its customer base and product development skills with its new European partner’s scale and experience in private label and co-manufacturing.
