CHICAGO — The latest additions to the Pop-Tarts lineup satiate consumer demand for a nostalgic flavor fave and growing interest in protein-packed products.
Kellanova’s toaster pastry brand announced the return of Frosted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, this time as a permanent part of its portfolio.
“Our fans continue to show us how passionate they are about their favorite flavors, which is how we knew it was time for Frosted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to make a comeback,” said Leslie Serro, VP of marketing for Pop-Tarts.
Pop-Tarts Protein — available in Slammin’ Strawberry, Boostin’ Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Bumpin’ Blueberry — boast 10 grams of protein per serving in a nostalgic format.
Both products will be available on store shelves nationwide beginning in November.
