JACKSON, MI — Bakery equipment manufacturer LeMatic Inc. announced the opening of a brand-new subsidiary, LeMatic do Brasil LTDA.

Located in Campinas, São Paulo, the new company marks a strategic advancement in LeMatic’s goals for future growth in the South American market.

“This move is a strategic one, aimed at capitalizing on Brazil’s large population, growing consumer base and skilled workforce,” said Teresa Ruder, VP of business development for LeMatic. “As we expand our global reach, it allows us to better serve our clients and tap into this region’s vibrant innovation ecosystem.”

Not only does the expansion give the manufacturer more flexibility across regional markets, it also opens new avenues for further global extension.

“It also presents opportunities for LeMatic to integrate into global supply chains, benefit from regional trade advantages within the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) and find opportunities to invest in emerging sectors such as growing manufacturing industries and engineering,” Ruder added.

As a privately held corporation, LeMatic maintains a culture of improvement backed by 53 years of equipment design, manufacturing and installation, with all manufacturing performed in-house at the Jackson, MI, facility.
