RICHMOND, UT — Greenfield Milling celebrated the opening of its new flagship flour milling facility.

The new mill, located in Richmond, UT, will play a pivotal role in providing a dedicated pneumatic flour to supply a facility under The Campbell’s Co., which makes Goldfish and Milano. This is part of a 20-year supply agreement between the companies.

Greenfield’s mill capabilities include an array of flour types, with the capacity to produce nearly 7,500 CWTS a day. The flour facility will also offer a range of flour packaging capabilities and various shipping options.

Key partnerships with other organizations helped finalize the completion of the Richmond mill. This includes the milling company’s partnership with minority stakeholder Nippn Corp. of Japan.

Looking ahead, the company’s operational expansion includes leasing certain former assets from Panhandle Milling. Through this arrangement, Greenfield will be able to expand its offerings to include ingredients and mixes for products such as tortillas and pizza dough in various formats. This deal is backed by a multi-year agreement with a national bakery and restaurant manufacturer, extending the milling company’s role as a retail ingredients provider, manufacturer and distributor in the US.

Greenfield intends to expand the Richmond facility, upping capacity by integrating advanced blending and warehousing automation.
