CHARLESTON, SC — Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit is joining 1,400 Publix locations with the launch of two additions to its Southern-inspired snack line: Sea Salt Biscuit Crackers and Sharp Cheddar Biscuit Crackers.
The crackers are sustainably made using the third roll-out of biscuit dough, which is usually discarded as it becomes too tough to make any more biscuits but works well as crispy crackers.
“We are absolutely delighted to announce that Callie’s Artisan Biscuit Crackers are now available in the deli area of all Publix locations,” said Carrie Morey, founder of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. “This is a monumental achievement for our small, handmade biscuit company. It’s truly a ‘pinch-me’ moment to see our biscuit crackers come full circle; they originally started as a way to repurpose leftover, unusable biscuit dough for our catering platters.”
Riding on the momentum of the brand’s twentieth anniversary, this marks the largest grocery roll-out in Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit’s history.
Consumers can find the biscuit crackers at all Publix locations in 4.5-ounce bags.
