HANOVER, PA — Utz Brands, parent company to an array of salty snack brands including Zapp’s and Boulder Canyon, announced a multi-phase project to upgrade its headquarters. This includes an assortment of relocations, upgrades and the sale of two buildings.

“Utz is proud to have called Hanover headquarters for more than 100 years, and we’re pleased to share that the work that began with the opening of the Rice Distribution Center last year was only the beginning of our investments here in Hanover,” said Howard Friedman, CEO of Utz Brands. “This work underscores our commitment to building on our legacy in Hanover while preparing for our future.”

The company announced a series of investments, all of which are set to commence in the upcoming months.  This includes moving its headquarters to a different spot on the Utz campus, transforming it into a modern Employee Hub designed for collaboration with upgraded tech and modern offices, workspaces and meeting rooms.

In addition to the next-gen Utz Employee Hub, the company shared that its Fitness Center and DSD Warehouse are moving to the same building as its headquarters.

Utz also intends to transform its Carlisle Street Plant 1 location — currently housing its outlet store, neon sign and community pavilion — into the Utz Community Center in the future.

“We are excited to invest in more efficient spaces that will support our associates and the community for many years to come,” Friedman said.

Earlier this year, the company announced a series of leadership appointments. This includes Trevor Martin being named senior VP of investor relations as well as the promotions of William J. Kelley Jr. and Jeremy Stuart.
