LOS ANGELES — On the heels of its latest expansion into Whole Foods Market, Elavi is broadening its protein brownie line with the addition of Birthday Cake Blondies.

“Nikki Elliott [co-founder of Elavi] and I pulled inspiration from SusieCakes’ funfetti cake and Sidecar’s birthday cake donut and created this dream flavor popularly requested by customers with our signature clean-label ingredients (gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, seed-oil free),” said Michelle Razavi, founder and CEO of Elavi, via LinkedIn.

Elavi’s team spent nine months developing this flavor without refined sugars and artificial flavors or colors. Each vegan blondie boasts 10 grams of protein.

The brand also worked with Supernatural Inc., a woman-owned better-for-you baking ingredient company, to source dye-free rainbow sprinkles for the product.

Available in 8-count boxes, Elavi Birthday Cake Blondies can be purchased on the brand’s website and through Thrive Market.
