INDIANAPOLIS — As part of the American Society of Baking (ASB)’s upcoming BakingTECH event, set for Feb. 17-19 in Chicago, the association is continuing its partnership with the Cereal & Grains Association’s Milling & Baking Division.

As a result, the Milling & Baking Division’s Spring Technical Conference will return on Feb. 16, held ahead of BakingTECH’s opening sessions.

“It’s an incredible opportunity for our members to gain insights, build connections and share knowledge that drives our industry forward,” said Abhay Patwa, 2025 chair of the Milling & Baking Division.

Programming for the forum includes insights into new research, trends and challenges, regulatory updates and food safety practices.

Having the Spring Technical Conference and BakingTECH events co-located in the Windy City not only reduces travel expenses but also allow both organizations to deliver more value to baking industry members.

“This technical conference strengthens BakingTECH as the premier destination for ongoing and consistent technical education, networking and professional growth in the commercial baking industry,” said Tawnee Brydebell, deputy executive director of ASB.
