LAS VEGAS — The IBIE planning committee’s promise to strengthen IBIEducate programming and enhance the show’s experience for multi-lingual guests continues with the expansion of its partnership with Mexipan, a leading baking trade show for Latin America.

Through this collaboration, Chef Talks, Mexipan’s speaker series that highlights culinary innovation and industry dialogue, will debut at the Baking Expo with nine presentations covering topics ranging from artisan baking techniques to the latest cake trends.

“IBIE’s strategic alliance with Mexipan reflects our shared commitment to the development of our industry’s global workforce,” said Mark Hotze, IBIE 2025 planning committee member, chair of IBIEducate and VP, North America for Corbion. “Chef Talks brings a fresh lens to the challenges and innovations shaping baking in Latin America, and we’re excited to give these stories a platform in Las Vegas.”

The series will offer attendees new perspectives on topics such as baking industry trends, product development and sustainability. In integrating Chef Talks into the IBIEducate lineup, which includes more than 250 demos, sessions and workshops, the Baking Expo increases accessibility to the event for Spanish-speaking members of the industry.
