CHICAGO — Kellanova’s staple cracker brand Cheez-It is leaning into consumer demand for a functional, gluten-free cracker variety.

To generate buzz, Cheez-It shared a sneak peek on its Instagram page, showcasing the branded box and projected 2026 release date.

Gluten-free products have flooded the market over the past few years as more consumers seek snacks that serve their dietary needs. The decrease of gluten in baked goods has also become a rising wellness trend among non-afflicted consumers, with many making the switch to gluten-free to alleviate dietary sensitivities and weight management.

The CPG snack brand is on a blazing trail of product innovation, recently releasing Cheez-It x Wendy’s Baconator crackers in partnership with the fast food brand.

The addition of gluten-free crackers will continue the brand’s market growth and widen its target consumer scope.
