Corbion makes slate of leadership changes

AMSTERDAM — To support the company’s decision-making processes, Corbion has refined its executive committee to six leaders.

This includes two key appointments: Oli Arnason as chief integrated supply chain officer (CISCO) and Yves Boland, PhD, as chief technology officer, effective July 15 and Sept. 1, respectively. Ruud Peerbooms, who most recently served as Corbion’s president of health and nutrition, has stepped into the chief commercial officer position.

“I am very happy to welcome Oli and Yves to our team and to see Ruud step into this new role,” said Olivier Rigaud, Corbion’s CEO. “Their combined expertise will be key as we strive to not only deliver innovative, sustainable solutions and exceptional service to our customers but also elevate our company performance and maximize shareholder returns.”

As CISCO, Arnason, who most recently served as global manufacturing director at Friesland Campina, will concentrate his efforts on efficient supply chain, procurement and operations management. He brings a wealth of experience in the food and beverage sector to Corbion, leveraging his expertise to help Corbion optimize its processes and deliver value to its customers.

Dr. Boland most recently served as VP of technical services and business development at Tate & Lyle. As chief technology officer, his responsibilities will center on the company’s commitment to sustainable solutions and strengthening its technological capabilities.

In-house changes

Peerbooms continues his decade-long tenure with Corbion with this promotion. In this new role, he’ll be responsible for the company’s commercial activities.

“Oli’s experience in integrated supply chain management will help us optimize our operations, Yves’ talent for weaving together innovation and business strategy will accelerate our journey from concept to market, and Ruud’s deep knowledge of our markets will drive our commercial strategy forward,” Rigaud said. “Together, they will play a crucial role in positioning Corbion for future growth and success.”

In addition to these changes, Jacqueline van Lemmen, who has served on the Corbion executive committee since 2017, will step down as COO. Jennifer Lindsey, currently serving as both chief transformation officer and chief marketing and digital officer, will continue with the company as head of global marketing within the commercial organization.
