CHICAGO — The latest addition to the bar aisle offers consumers a boost of energy alongside a heap of protein.

In a collaboration with Stella Blue Coffee, founded by Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports, Battle Bars crafted Dark Chocolate Espresso Crispy Protein Bar, a coffee-infused protein bar, to join its line of marshmallow-based, gluten-free offerings.

Each bar boasts 17 grams of protein and 100 milligrams of caffeine. The new product aligns with other products from the veteran-owned bar brand, formulated without artificial sweeteners, fillers or canola oil.

Dark Chocolate Espresso Crispy Protein Bar is available on the Battle Bar’s website in 12-, 24- and 36-count orders for $39.99, $73.99 and $105.99, respectively.

This innovation is among the latest to lean into consumer interest in high-protein foods.
