YORK, PA — Meiji Hello Panda, a brand of Meiji America Inc. known for its crunchy shell cookies, launched Meiji Hello Panda Pretzels.

The bite-sized snack features a salted pretzel shell in the brand’s classic panda shape filled with a chocolate creme center. Similar to Meiji America Inc.’s existing line of products, the new pretzels are peanut free and omit high fructose corn syrup.

“We’ve never produced a snack quite like this — they’re uniquely delicious and a pantry must-have,” said Megan Kelly, associate brand manager at Meiji America Inc. “It’s a different take on the classic chocolate covered pretzels with the chocolate on the inside, and we are excited to offer this new snack variation to consumers.”

The new product is available in 1.7-ounce individual packages at select retailers nationwide.
