DUSSELDORF, GERMANY — To solidify the packaging industry’s global exchange of knowledge, interpack and the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) are expanding their partnership to promote innovation and sustainability.
WPO’s longstanding commitment to the global packaging industry, and interpack’s reputation for being the world’s leading trade fair for the packaging and related process industries, the cooperation between the organizations has been closely linked for decades.
“We have been associated with Messe Dusseldorf for many years, and interpack has long since become a home for us in Germany,” said Luciana Pellegrino, president of the WPO. “Together we want to achieve great things for the industry and support interpack with passion.”
The WPO and interpack will execute joint initiatives to strengthen the global packaging industry. The expanded partnership will promote important industry topics more effectively, including circular economy, sustainability and resource conservation.
