HERNDON, VA — PMMI’s Pack Expo International 2024, the defining event for packaging and processing, is gearing up, set to take place Nov. 3-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

As part of its commitment to engage and inspire the next generation of manufacturing professionals, Pack Expo will hold over 150 free educational sessions, providing attendees with access to essential insights and resources for navigating the evolving landscape of the industry.

This year, Pack Expo will include two new features — Emerging Brands Central and Sustainability Central — with cutting-edge strategies to advance business growth.

Located in the West Hall at Booth W-20049, Emerging Brands Central is targeted at rising brands seeking to scale their operations and expand consumer reach. This educational hub will host 30-minute sessions led by industry experts on an array of topics, including packaging machinery and innovation, scaling strategies, and actionable advice for up-and-coming brands. Attendees will be able to interact with thought leaders and gain practical skills necessary for overcoming growth challenges.

Pack Expo guests will also have the opportunity to meet expert industry advisors one-on-one and participate in private consultations that provide tailored advice for each specific brand.

Sustainability Central is making its debut at this year’s event and is on track to become the epicenter of sustainable packaging innovation. Located in the West Hall at Booth W-21020, this new feature will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of what sustainability means for brands today.

Industry experts will lead discussions on topics such as sustainable packaging, design, extended producer responsibility and circularity. Attendees will receive actionable insights on enhancing their sustainability initiatives and making their brands eco-friendly while remaining competitive in the marketplace.

Additionally, attendees will have access to the latest research and best practices from PMMI Business Intelligence, Ameripen, and leading colleges and universities.

Pack Expo will also host a multitude of educational and specialized topics presented by global industry leaders, including:

Innovation Stage: Three stages located in the North Hall will present 30-minute seminars on breakthrough technologies and industry-specific solutions such as AI, robotics, design and sustainability.

Processing Innovation Stage: Focused on food and beverage processing advancements, this stage will cover food safety and sustainability in 30-minute sessions at Lakeside Upper Hall.

Industry Speaks: Located in the North Hall, experts from the Pack Expo International Partner Program will address the latest pressing topics and notable industry trends across multiple industry verticals, including AI, automation, design, safety, sustainability and robotics.

Reusable Packaging Learning Center: Sponsored by the Reusable Packaging Association, this center will offer insights into how reusable packaging systems drive efficiency and sustainability in the supply chain and cover topics such as logistics, improving material handling performance, and value assessment.
