HUNTINGTON PARK, CA — La Monarca Bakery, a Mexican food brand known for its cookies and authentic pan dulce, is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a new addition to its cookie lineup, Crunchy Cinnamon Churro Cookies.
Debuting in September, the cookies will be available at 59 Costco locations across Southern California. Consumers can also ask for a sample from one of the bakery’s twelve CA-based locations.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new Churro Cookie creation at Costco and hope to delight all Costco members with the sweet flavor of Mexico,” said Ricardo Cervantes, co-founder and CEO of La Monarca Bakery. “Our Churro Cookies capture the flavor of a traditionally fried churro, but in a baked, crunchy, buttery cookie. We grind our cinnamon in-house and use only simple ingredients for the perfect mix of sweetness and cinnamon.”
The bakery crafted the cookies using only six ingredients: flour, butter, salt, water, sugar and cinnamon.
The Crunchy Cinnamon Churro Cookies will be available in 16-ounce containers for an SRP of $8.49 at select Costco locations or online at the La Monarca Bakery website.
