COLLEGEDALE, TN — McKee Foods, the Collegedale, TN-based producer of iconic Little Debbie snack cakes, recently announced the opening of Little Debbie Park. Featuring giant sculptures of the company’s more popular products, the park sits on 10-acres of green space that the company donated to the city.
Visitors — children and adults — can play on Nutty Buddy Bars, an Oatmeal Creme Pie and Cosmic Brownies, complete with candy pieces for a climbing wall. Park visitors will also notice the round plazas depicting a Swiss Roll, a Fudge Round, and as the icing on the cake, a 6-ft. Christmas Tree Cake.
“Our family has always enjoyed being outside, and enjoying the beautiful trees, grass, shrubs of nature, etc., and there’s probably not a better gift than to be able to come together and make something like this happen,” said Rusty McKee, executive VP of McKee Foods. “We are just thrilled to give this to the community.”
