CAMDEN, NJ — Dale F. Morrison, 74, former Campbell Soup Company president and CEO, passed away April 8, 2023.
Morrison served as Campbell’s president and CEO from 1997-2000. He came to the company in 1995 as president of Pepperidge Farm. In that position, he drove significant sales growth for brands such as Goldfish crackers and Milano cookies. In 1996, he became president of Campbell’s International and Specialty Foods division.
During Morrison’s tenure, Campbell launched V8 Splash beverages, and Campbell’s Chunky soup began its ongoing sponsorship with the National Football League.
