BEDFORD, NH — Wire Belt Company of America, a leading manufacturer of open-mesh stainless steel conveyor belting, has officially expanded into a larger manufacturing facility in Bedford, NH.
After 33 years in its previous Londonderry, NH, location, the company has shifted into a larger facility to provide Wire Belt room for growth within customer service, conveyor belting solutions and product support.
The company is also adding to its Compact-Grid line with CG15, 15mm mesh that is USDA-accepted and offers advantages such as a clean-in-place design, support and simple belt joining. Wire Belt as also increased the wire diameter to 0.082 for added strength to the belt life. Because of the thicker and larger mesh, this allows for more weight to be held per square foot. The 15mm mesh also allows for better flow-through properties due to the larger open surface area.
The new mesh will be on display at Pack Expo, held Sept. 11-13 in Las Vegas, and at Process Expo, held Oct. 23-25 in Chicago.
