NEW YORK — Zucker’s Bagels, a New York City bagel shop, is bringing its artisan bagels in a new ready-to-bake format with the launch of its first-ever retail product: Par Baked Frozen Bagels.

“You no longer need to be in New York City to have the best bagel experience,” said Matt Pomerantz, founder of Zucker’s Bagels. “Our par baked bagels are not your average frozen bagel; with the finest natural ingredients and traditional process, I’m proud of the bagel craftsmanship we established when we opened our first shop in Tribeca in 2007 and thrilled to share our baking traditions.”

Zucker’s baked goods features unbromated and unbleached flours and pure malt syrup. Consumers can finish baking them in an oven or air fryer for 9-14 minutes, offering a convenient option with minimal fuss.

Zucker’s Par Baked Plain, Sesame and Everything Bagels will launch this month at online retailers including Fresh Direct and Goldbelly and tri-state retailers Butterfield Market, Westside Market, select ShopRite New Jersey stores and more. A portion of sales benefit The Bowery Mission to help end hunger in New York.

In addition to the product launch, Zucker’s Bagels also welcomed Marc Forgione, founder of Respect Hospitality and owner of Forgione and Peasant, as a partner and ambassador.

“Nothing beats a fresh New York City bagel, and a warm and delicious Zucker’s bagel right out of the oven is a must-have experience,” Forgione said. “Par baking doesn’t have to be a chef’s secret any longer, and I’m excited to bring this ultimate convenience to bagel lovers near and far.”
