NEW YORK — Yough!, a brand that uses Greek yogurt to make comfort foods, announced the launch of its frozen pizzas and versatile dough.
Made with a Greek yogurt base, the dough provides health benefits such as postbiotics, lower calories, lower carbs and higher protein alternatives.
“We knew two-ingredient dough was taking off but felt there had to be an easier way for consumers to enjoy it while also making it cleaner and more delicious,” said Jason Miller, co-founder and COO of Yough. “We’re starting with frozen pizzas and dough, but Yough’s ultimate goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what comfort food can be, while prioritizing health and flavor.”
Yough uses clean and quality ingredients, sourcing its Greek yogurt from local Wisconsin farms and using 100% organic wheat flour for its base.
Debuting its line with three frozen pizza options: cheese, turkey pepperoni and a customizable thin crust for consumers to personalize their pizza. The brand also offers prepared dough to create an assortment of snacks and desserts with a healthier twist.
“Yough allows you to eat the foods you love, and still feel great afterwards,” said Mike Rolland, co-founder and CEO of Yough. “We started with pizza because not only is it one of America’s favorites, it’s ours as well. Yough embodies the belief that you can have your cake and eat it too, or in this case — pizza, pretzels, bagels, cinnamon rolls or other treats.”
Beyond the kitchen, the company has teamed up with co-founder Haleigh Rose’s For Everyone Foundation, which focuses on bringing awareness and support to people with disabilities, donating a percentage of profits to the organization.
Consumers can purchase Yough’s products on its website.
