In the upcoming season, Joanie Spencer, editor-in-chief of Commercial Baking, connects with Jennifer Steiner Pool, president and creator-in-chief of Glen Cove, NY-based Steiner’s Coffee Cake of New York.

Over the course of five episodes, Pool and Spencer dive into the history of the gluten-free coffee cake company, how it scaled up, product development, the evolution of gluten-free goods marketing, and how the company is expanding its product portfolio.

Steiner’s Coffee Cake of New York was featured as an emerging brand in the August 2023 issue of Commercial Baking. The bakery began operating in 2016 and quickly caught the eye of Mondelez International as a participant in the company’s 2023 CoLab start-up program.
