RIDGEFIELD, NJ — One of the largest family-owned bakeries across the US, Toufayan Bakeries, is giving back to local communities this October by donating partial proceeds from 300,000 specially marked pink packages of some of its top products to support breast cancer research.
“Part of our culture at Toufayan is giving back,” said Karen Toufayan, VP of marketing and sales for Toufayan. “Each year we choose initiatives that are close to our hearts and the hearts of our employees. Everyone knows someone impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis, so choosing to continue to support those fighting breast cancer and the survivors, research and education was an easy decision.”
The pink packages will be on the bakeries top selling products — wraps and original pita. Each purchase will support Toufayan’s mission to help fund breast cancer research initiatives. Products are available in grocery stores throughout October and on the bakery’s Amazon store.
