NEW YORK — Frozen pizza brand Talia di Napoli released its newest flavor to its product portfolio, Cacio e Pepe.
The offering draws inspiration from the popular pasta dish, which is known for its pepper and cream flavor. The pie features the brand’s signature crispy crust and fior di latte mozzarella as well as a combination of a pepper-cheese base.
“Cacio e Pepe is a flavor combination that the world just can’t get enough of, which is why we’re so excited to introduce our take on it as a real, authentic Neapolitan pizza,” said Kat LaFata, digital marketing director of Talia di Napoli. “We take a lot of care in developing new flavors, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how this one captures the experience of the classic pasta dish.”
Talia di Napoli, which uses a patented cryogenic freezing chamber to freeze its Neapolitan pizzas in Naples before shipping to the US, previously released its first certified vegan offering earlier this year.
The new flavor is available on the Talia di Napoli website in a 6- or 8-pack for $116 or $140, respectively.
