NEW YORK — Sola, a better-for-you bread manufacturer, launched four new bread products: Kids Bread, White and Multigrain Classic Bread, and Rolls. These new additions join Sola’s existing lineup of low-carb and low-sugar breads, bagels, and buns.
Sola’s Kids Bread is one of the only breads made specifically for children. The product contains zero sugar or added sweeteners and offers a full serving of fruits and vegetables per two slices.
“There is a big problem with the amount of sugar in kids’ diets, and a lot of time that sugar is hiding within the foods they’re eating every day,” said Kevin Brouillette, president of Sola. “We saw a massive area of opportunity within the bread category for a kid-specific product that is health-forward and free from sugar and sweeteners that still delivers the taste kids know and love. We’re proud to have created this innovative solution for families and hope this ignites change within the industry.”
Sola’s White and Multigrain Classic Bread loaves are slightly larger than the existing bread offerings. Each slice contains 8 grams of fiber and 50 calories.
Sola Rolls deliver the same nutritional values and come in two flavors: Savory & Buttery and Sweet Hawaiian.
“The bread category hardly ever sees a sugar-free, high-fiber and low-carb offering that tastes just as good as the rest,” Brouillette said. “We’re extremely proud of our team who has been able to perfect a delicious line of classic breads, with a better nutrition content than any other bread loaf on the market.”
Sola Kids Bread and Classic Loaves are available at H-E-B for an SRP of $4.98 and $5.64, respectively. The Rolls will be available at H-E-B stores at an SRP of $4.98 starting June 7. All new Sola products will launch on the brand’s website and in additional retailers soon.
