KANSAS CITY, MO — Complete ingredient automation provider Shick Esteve announced that Bill Laramore, president of W.D. Laramore Manufacturing, will retire on Dec. 10, 2022. Moving forward, Bill will serve as a consultant on the Laramore and Shick Esteve teams. General manager Jeff Willyard will take on daily operational responsibilities.
“Although saddened by Bill’s retirement from daily operations, we are pleased that Bill will continue to provide an advisory role to the Laramore and Shick Esteve team as the Laramore product line is integrated into existing ingredient automation solutions,” shared Blake A. Day, president and CEO of Shick Esteve. “Bill has a passion for teaching and mentoring, and we are excited about his continued involvement as he begins to spend more time and focus on his family and hobbies.”
Laramore, known as a leader in flour reclaim systems for over four decades, was acquired by Shick Esteve in May 2021. The specialist in roll and bread line reclaim technology was the first to offer a completely automatic dusting flour reclaim and recycling system. Since, Laramore has supplied hundreds of integrated flour reclaim systems globally. Shick Esteve’s acquisition of the company strengthened its position as a complete ingredient automation supplier.
