Rich Products strengthens pizza capabilities with acquisition

BUFFALO, NY — Rich Products (Rich’s) announced the strategic acquisition of Great Kitchens Food Co., a leading manufacturer of take-and-bake pizzas in North America, from Brynwood Partners VIII L.P.

Great Kitchens Food has robust capabilities for fully topped pizzas, including deep-dish and handheld products. The acquisition will expand Rich Product’s pizza portfolio and strengthen the company’s position in said market.

Great Kitchen’s private label and branded food products are sold nationally through major grocery retailers, wholesale club stores, foodservice and e-commerce channels. The addition of Great Kitchens will allow Rich’s to create a vertically integrated platform for topped pizza and flatbread, enabling expanded capacity and innovation in both the deli and frozen sections.

Headquartered in Romeoville, IL, Great Kitchens has three manufacturing facilities in Romeoville, Chicago Heights, IL, and Brockton, MA, with 1,000 employees who will join Rich’s team of more than 13,000 people in more than 100 countries.

The deal closed January 2026. Terms and conditions of the transaction were not disclosed.
