ROBESONIA, PA — Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a leading global manufacturer of snack production systems, has promoted Marcelo Morales to the role of senior project manager.

“We are pleased to announce the promotion of Marcelo,” said Shane Hanlon, director of project services.  “He has been a valuable part of the RBS Project Services Group for more than eight years, successfully managing projects that cover our entire equipment portfolio. In this new role, he will continue to lead by example, through his willingness to share experience and his commitment to RBS and our customers.”

Prior to joining RBS, Morales held project management positions in Rochester, NY; Portland, OR; and Quito, Ecuador.

Known as a self-starter with an entrepreneurial background, Morales founded multiple companies in Ecuador including a design/build construction firm and a marketing and print production company. He is a graduate of the Catholic University of Ecuador and currently resides in Breinigsville, PA with his family.

In his new role, Morales will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of RBS projects while exercising overall control of their scope, budgets and schedules. In addition, he will maintain regular communication among all project participants including customers, as well as RBS’ engineering, production, sales and management team members.
