BATTLE CREEK, MI — In a recent collaboration with fashion marketplace Depop, Pop-Tarts has transformed some of its most popular flavors into wearable products.

The Pop-Tart x Depop Collection combines of the power of nostalgia and a loyal fanbase. Each of the five flavor-inspired collections incorporates hand-picked thrifted pieces from some of Depop’s top creators.

“This collaboration with Depop celebrates the creativity of our fans as well as our timeless Pop-Tarts flavors, which have served as delicious inspiration for so many imaginative minds,” said Heidi Ray, senior director of marketing, portable wholesome snacks. “Through the Pop-Tarts x Depop Collection, this talented group of fashion-forward creators perfectly captured the essence of each Pop-Tarts flavor while staying true to their one-of-a-kind vibe, and we can’t wait to see how our fans will style each piece from the collab.”

Creators and their collections include: Emma Rogue x Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts; Grey & AJ x Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts; Jake Fleming x Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts; Kai McPhee Frosted S’Mores Pop-Tarts; and Amanda Quach x Frosted Cherry Pop-Tarts.

“Whenever I take a bite of Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts, I immediately get taken back to my childhood— memories of playing tag outside with my brother and running through the sprinkler on a Saturday morning,” Rogue said about the inspiration behind her collection. “I combined these memories of nostalgia with elements of red, white and pink to curate an iconic 2000’s strawberry-themed collection – and event – that oozes happiness and playfulness.”

Each item in the collection is priced at $3.59 each — the equivalent of one box of Pop-Tarts.

“Depop has always engaged with the intersection of nostalgia and pop-culture, and our latest collaboration with Pop-Tarts fuses both together in a fun and unexpected way,” said Steve Dool, Depop’s brand director. “The curated vintage pieces our community gathered together for this collaboration with Pop-Tarts are a great entry point to showcase the excitement and discovery of thrifting of one-of-a-kind items on Depop.”

In addition to the wearable collection, the brands collaborated for a first-of-its-kind Pop-Tarts x Depop Box, featuring a random assortment of flavors inspired by the unpredictable nature of shopping for thrifted items. Included with the purchase of any item from the apparel collection, the limited-edition boxes will also be available through a giveaway on Pop-Tart’s Instagram page.

The first threes pieces from each flavor collection of the collab is available starting Sept. 23 on the Pop-Tarts Shop on Depop.com and on the app. Throughout the week until Sept. 29, each flavor collection will drop in full at 12:00 p.m. ET/ 9:00 a.m. PT.
