CHICAGO — During Pack Expo International, being held Nov. 3-6 in Chicago, show owner PMMI, the association for packaging and processing technologies, announced the latest Pack Expo event: Pack Expo Southeast, taking place March 10-12 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“This is going to be a new regional event for us,” said Jim Pittas, president and CEO of PMMI. “We are very excited to launch this new venture.”
Exhibit sales have been open for about a year, and the show has now topped more than 100,000 square feet of show floor space.
Like all shows in the Pack Expo portfolio, Pack Expo Southeast will bring packaging and processing machinery, materials and technology together to serve this growing manufacturing corridor.
“This show represents a big opportunity to bring the industry together in a region of the country that is not currently served by a tradeshow focused on packaging and processing,” Pittas said. “Pack Expo Southeast in Atlanta is the perfect location to focus on targeted opportunities in this robust market, which is home to some of the top manufacturing industries in the region.”
Recognizing that significant manufacturing and membership presence, PMMI recently announced a $200,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support the Southeast US and Florida regions impacted by recent hurricanes. The association also called on its member companies to support the affected region as well.
Attendee registration for Pack Expo Southeast officially opened during Pack Expo International this week in Chicago. For more information on registration or exhibitor booth space, visit the Pack Expo Southeast website.
