LOS ANGELES — Ahead of National Cookie Day on Dec. 4, Otis Spunkmeyer released a few recipes for foodservice operators.
The recipes feature three cookies from the Aspire Bakeries brand’s Sweet Discovery line: Sugar Cookie, Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie and White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie. The premium, pre-formed pucks offer a labor-friendly way to create cookies.
The recipes include:
- Cinnamon and Sugar Pinwheel Cookies: By transforming Otis Spunkmeyer Sugar Cookies into pinwheels drizzled with vanilla glaze, operators can create a simple sweet good to draw in profit and increase customer impulse purchases.
- Cranberry Oatmeal Pie Cups: Turning the Otis Spunkmeyer Sweet Discovery Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie into a mini pie cup will enable foodservice teams to create a crisp, chewy crust to use with pie fillings such as apple.
- White Out Macadamia Nut: This simple treat is elevated by topping an Otis Spunkmeyer Sweet Discovery White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie with royal icing and glistening sugar.
