EAST HANOVER, NJ — OREO introduced Double Chocolate Cakesters, a new addition to its Cakesters lineup, and brought back a limited-time favorite, Golden Birthday Cake cookies.
The new flavor of Cakesters is hitting the shelves as a permanent addition to the brand’s portfolio. It features two chocolate snack cakes filled with a chocolate-flavored creme.
The OREO Golden Birthday Cake cookies are returning as a limited-edition offering to celebrate another year of OREO cookies. The cookies are filled with a Birthday Cake-flavored creme mixed with rainbow sprinkles and sandwiched between two Golden OREO cookies.
Consumers can find OREO Double Chocolate Cakesters starting Feb. 24, while OREO Golden Birthday Cake cookies will be available starting March 3, while supplies last.
The Mondelez International brand has been busy in the R&D department, recently releasing a limited-edition OREO cookie featuring its first-ever swirled creme in collaboration with singer Post Malone.
