WESTPORT, CT — Newman’s Own has launched its latest pizza innovation, Stone-Fired Crust Pizzas.

Expanding past the brand’s previous pizza varieties of Cauliflower Crust and Thin and Crispy, the new line features a lightly blistered crust. To achieve this texture, the pizzas are stone fired at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for 60 seconds to lock in the product’s topping flavors and maintain a light, airy and crispy texture until it’s ready to be baked at home.

The stone-fired crust pies are imported from Italy and are available in three flavors.

Margherita is topped with traditional tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella cheese and basil leaves. Quattro Formaggi a four-cheese pizza, is comprised of for di latte mozzarella, buffalo ricotta, buffalo mozzarella, Pecorino Romano cheese and basil leaves.  Spinaci & Formaggi features caciocavallo cheese, fior di mozzarella, Grana Padano, spinach, garlic and lemon.

Margherita and Quattro Formaggi have no preservatives or artificial ingredients. Spinaci & Formaggi has no artificial colors or flavors.

Newman’s also announced the launch of a new Garlic Vinaigrette & Marinade. All profits from the sale of these new products will go to organizations that help children.

“Forty years after Newman’s Own was founded with the launch of its first salad dressing, we remain committed to Paul Newman’s vision of giving all profits away,” said Nicole Malcolm-Manyara, chief marketing officer of Newman’s Own. “As we launch a new dressing this year, as well as a new Italian pizza line, I’m proud that our customers can still feel doubly good about reaching for convenient, tasty foods with high-quality ingredients while helping support organizations that improve the lives of children.”

The Stone-Fired Crust Pizzas roll out nationwide this summer with a suggested retail price of $7.29.
