MOUNDRIDGE, KS — Mama Lupe’s, a Flagship Food Group brand known for its innovative, better-for-you tortillas, announced the launch of a new line for flavored tortillas. Set to roll out in Walmart stores across the US this month, the Flavor Pack sub-brand includes an array of flavors that are unusual for the tortilla category.

“We are so excited that Walmart has launched this new Flavor Pack line in over 3,000 stores across the country,” added Gary Brown, head of sales for Mama Lupe’s. “Our flavored tortillas open the door for so much fun recipe experimentation. These tortillas taste great as a snack by themselves or when paired with different ingredients than we normally associate with tortillas.”

Flavors include chocolate, churro, ranch, BBQ, pumpkin spice and buffalo spice. The sweet and savory offerings expand the traditional use of the flatbread. Each pack retails for $2.98 and offers consumers a “fun and unique way” to eat or snack at home.

In the past year, Flagship Food Group has developed nearly 50 new food products in the past year, shared Forrest Kragten, CEO of La Tortilla Factory. Of these products, Mama Lupe’s Flavor Pack line stands apart.
