PLANO, TX — Middleby Bakery has named Chris Runge Auto-Bake Serpentine’s modernizations manager. In this role, he’ll lead the company’s modernization initiatives with a focus on growth, execution and innovation.
Runge brings nearly 17 years of automotive industry experience to the role. Since joining Stewart Systems in October 2020, Runge garnered experience in parts management and steadily expanded his expertise across multiple departments. After transitioning to the Auto-Bake team, he has been instrumental in managing parts, modernizations and aftermarket account services, becoming a crucial player in sales and customer service.
As modernizations manager, Runge will continue his sales and service leadership while taking on additional responsibilities in project management.
“With the correct vision and execution, our modernization business unit has the potential to accelerate growth across each department in Auto-Bake, including innovation, parts, service, and capital sales,” said Scott McCally, president of Auto-Bake Serpentine. “After four years, Chris has proven that he has the talent, ambition, and dedication to grow our business and provide excellent products and services to our customers.”
Runge’s prior experience and industry knowledge will assist the Auto-Bake Serpentine team in its operational goals and plans for growth.
“There are several areas where we have growth opportunities, and I strongly believe we have the right people,” McCally added. “Chris will ensure we improve and excel, especially in modernization execution and growth.”
