LAWRENCE, MA — Joseph’s Bakery, a producer of pita and lavash flatbreads, announced the nationwide release of Heart Friendly Pita bread certified by the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check Food Certification Program.
The Heart-Check mark indicates to consumers that a product meets the nutritional requirements of the American Heart Association.

The better-for-you pita is vegan, a good source of fiber and has no cholesterol or saturated fats. Heart Friendly Pita bread is available at certain grocery stores and retailers across the US.
