CHICAGO — The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) revealed Michiel Bakker, president and CEO of the Culinary Institute of America, as the keynote speaker for IFT First, scheduled for July 13-16 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

With more than three decades of leadership experience in the food, hospitality and service industries, Bakker is committed to innovation, sustainability and prosperous food systems.

As the event’s keynote, he will offer valuable insights into the global food landscape and present a human-centric approach to the business of food. His session will explore the use of data to identify the best ways to serve consumers as their needs and desires remain evolving.
