LAS VEGAS — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) is holding an in-person exhibitor briefing on Jan. 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the site of its 2022 show.

The day will be packed full of information, updates, reminders and tips to help exhibitors prepare for IBIE 2022, which will be held Sept. 17-21. This triennial event is returning for the first time since the pandemic upended in-person gatherings for the grain-based food industry.

A lot has changed since the last IBIE.

During the exhibitor briefing, visitors will get the chance to tour the North and West Halls and the Tesla Convention Center loop. IBIE’s key supplier partners will also be available for one-on-one meetings. The agenda is also set to include part one of a two-part education series geared toward first-time exhibitors or veterans who would like a refresher. This series will offer insights on exhibiting at IBIE from exhibit sales, vendors and peers.

As far as COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the event organizers are working closely with the LVCC and event vendors to follow protocols as local, state, federal and Centers for Disease and Control Prevention recommendations and regulations evolve. For those who are unable to attend in person, IBIE will provide a video recording of this briefing online after the event.

Register and find more details on the IBIE website. Questions or concerns about traveling can be directed to Samantha Moore at smoore@americanbakers.org.
